Powerlifting is a fun and competitive sport. We compete in three lifts- squat, bench press, and deadlift. We have at least two competitions per year. They are at Calvary and the North Regional meets. Our competitors lift against students in weight classes. A 100 pound student will not lift against a 250 pound student. We practice two to four times a week. Please see Coach Brannon in A110 for more information. You don’t have to be strong to start; we’ll get you strong while teaching you how to lift safely and properly.
